Located just a few miles outside of Brenham, this stunning single-family home stands as one of the largest of its kind in the world! This house was Hive3D's first full project and features several innovations never attempted before in a 3d-printed house, including parametric wall designs, foamcrete wall insulation, and pigmented concrete layers. Fun fact: this amazing house was printed with a rotating team of only 4 people! With printing completed, roofing and electrical work are now underway, with an anticipated finish out in mid 2023. The tiny Texas town of Round Top draws tens of thousands of eager tourists and shoppers year-round with its regular festivals and antique shows. One of the most popular destinations for shoppers and show-goers is The Halles, a multi-vendor retail venue that offers food and drink, music, shopping, and lodging slips for out-of-town visitors. Tucked in close behind The Halles, with easy access to the various shops and attractions at festival time, this cozy collection of tiny homes (casitas) will feature studio, single-bedroom, and two-bedroom models, ranging from 400-900 sq ft. Finish work is currently underway, so if you're in town for one of Round Top's famous festivals, feel free to drop in and watch us build !
